In need of QA testing

Our lab is now accepting cannabis and hemp samples of plant material, extracts and infused products, compliant with regulations set forth by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission and the New York Cannabinoid Hemp Program (NYCHP).

As of November 2021, we’re approved by the state of New Jersey to conduct compliance testing on samples for the New Jersey Medical Cannabis Program (NJMCP), and as of June 2022, we are licensed for Adult Use testing in NJ. We’re also an approved testing lab for the NYCHP, which has some of the strictest and most robust testing requirements for hemp products in the United States.

As a DEA-registered facility with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, we are legally able to handle pre-harvest compliance hemp samples (collected in accordance with USDA sampling guidelines) from any USDA-regulated hemp program and from most* federally approved state- or tribal-administered hemp programs.

We offer a suite of testing services for post-harvest plant material, extracts and infused products to assist with R&D and product development. By partnering with us, you’ll ensure your products are free from microbial contamination, pesticide residue, heavy metals and more.

*Some state-run programs designate specific labs for pre-harvest compliance testing. Please contact us prior to submitting pre-harvest compliance samples to ensure your specific state program requirements are met.

Pre-Harvest Compliance Analysis

For USDA compliance, only sampling agents approved by the USDA or state, federal or local law enforcement agents approved by the USDA can collect hemp samples for shipment to (or drop-off at) a DEA-registered laboratory. These officials will collect samples and ensure they are sent to a registered / approved lab within 30 days of planned harvest. Licensees are responsible for paying sampling fees.

Samples of plant material for compliant pre-harvest THC potency analysis arrive at our lab wet and will be dried by the lab for a small fee.

Minimum weight requirements for potency analysis are determined by sampling regulations.

A chain of custody form is required for analysis and will be provided for completion by you and the registered sampling agent. This form requires information like your license number, requested turnaround time and any other tests requested. We offer full profile analyses, which include terpene analysis, as well as two safety panels and a full panel. Payment is also required before analysis.

Turnaround times vary depending on dry or wet plant material and additional tests requested. Typically, turnaround times are between 5-7 business days for dry plant material, 5-10 for wet. Rush turnaround time is available for an additional fee.

Samples can be dropped off directly to our lab during business hours Monday through Friday. For pre-harvest compliance testing, the sampling agent must arrange transport or shipping to the lab. Our lab is located at:

6000 Commerce Pkwy Suite I
Mt Laurel Township, NJ 08054

We can also accept shipments by USPS. Click here for instructions and a notice to be included with your shipment to ensure compliance. To learn more about USPS shipping requirements, visit our blog

We will communicate your pre-harvest compliance results—both with you and the USDA or USDA-approved state hemp program—as soon as possible and provide you with a detailed, easy-to-understand Certificate of Analysis with your USDA compliance cannabinoid potency results. This analysis provides results for 15 cannabinoids, including CBD and THC.

TESTING FOR NEW YORK CANNABINOID HEMP PROGRAM

We’re an approved testing facility for the New York Cannabinoid Hemp Program and can provide all panels and tests as required by the NYCHP. The NYCHP mandates that all products sold in and to New York must adhere to strict protocols for contaminant testing—all flower, extracts, concentrates or any other manufactured material are subject to these regulations.

We offer a specific NYCHP-compliant panel that covers all analytes. We also offer profile panels and additional analyses for cultivators, manufacturers and processors who would like to understand their products better.

A chain of custody form is required for analysis. This form requires information such as your license number and requested turnaround time. Payment is also required before analysis, and you will receive an electronic invoice upon the receipt of the samples at the laboratory.

Typically, the turnaround is between 5-7 business days. Rush turnaround time is available for an additional fee.

We can accept shipments by USPS, or drop off to our laboratory. Click here for instructions and a notice to be included on the outside of your shipment to ensure compliance. To learn more about USPS shipping requirements, visit our blog.

We will communicate your compliance results as soon as possible and provide you with a detailed, easy-to-understand Certificate of Analysis with all results.

TESTING FOR NEW JERSEY CANNABIS PROGRAM

We’ve developed NJMMP-specific panels that are fully compliant with regulations for pesticide, mold, heavy metals, cannabinoid content, terpene content and more in various product types.
